New Pathways into Quilt History written by Kimberly Wulfert, www.antiquequiltdating.com

Reproduction Fabrics:
What you've always wanted to know but didn't know who to ask.
Workshop by Kimberly Wulfert

This is a super-fun and easy way to learn how to know the era of a reproduction fabric.

In this class, we focus on fabrics 1800-1950. You can learn to identify the fabrics and to design quilts by styles and patterns, so you can make accurate reproductions. The quilts seen below are examples. You can make faux, fun reproductions, like the quilt at the left above. No sewing required. Students are encouraged to bring their reproduction quilts and fabrics for group discussion. An optional kit is available, and the class includes Kim’s examples.
