Rare Navajo Chief Blanket
(Links to YouTube
video)
See a rare Navajo blanket made for the Chief. It is THE
MOST valuable item ever appraised on the Antiques
Roadshow, they say. It is a hand-woven Navajo Ute First
Phase wearing blanket representing the very beginnings
of Navajo textile creation. The owner is shocked and
thrilled with what he learns about this blanket that
laid on the back of a chair for generations, and it just
might be related to Kit Carson!
